We are your perfect home-base for everything from relaxation to eco-tourism adventures and the place to be for gay Hawaii lodging and accommodations on the Big Island of Hawaii!
All our rooms have ocean views and our pool, hot-tub, and sundeck are all clothing-optional. Whether you're looking for snow-capped mountains (in winter), sizzling black sand beaches (including a nudist beach), or an active volcano you will find it near us on the Big Island of Hawaii. Hilo Town and its International Airport is about 45 minutes away and Pahoa town is about 15 minutes away.
Our gay and clothing-optional B&B is just a short stroll to the best naturist, gay-friendly black sand beach on the island of Hawaii. Located in the heart of the volcanic Puna District and nearby historic Pahoa town, we are close to Volcanoes National Park, majestic waterfalls, lush tropical gardens, and breathtaking snorkeling. Kilauea volcano is currently active, with lava pooling/flowing intermittently.

Kilauea Volcano Activity Update (from Hawaiian Volcano Observatory)
Kilauea volcanic activity continues with lava visible at two locations:
1) At the summit crater, the lava lake level is remaining below the rim but lava is visible as a bright glow at night from the Jaggar Museum in Volcanoes National Park. The lava lake level fluctuates daily. (Great viewing from the rim of the crater, at the Jaggar Museum in the National Park.)
2) On the east rift zone vent, the flow is moving slowly and some days remains stalled in the vicinity of Pahoa Town. The surface lava is located through a forest preserve and burning some trees in its path. (See this by helicopter.)
The county of Hawaii has set up a viewing area for the public to see the Pahoa lava flow. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and it's a great way to see the most recent flow up close.
